I bet you twenty dollars you will find more official Santa Clauses in Finland than in the North Pole. In fact, the amount of registered Santa Clauses in the North Pole is close to zero.

I'll see your twenty bucks and up the ante: even more Santas can be found in a single floor at Macy's in New York the day after Thanksgiving.

The teachers told me to "be a gentleman". Actually, they also implied that when I would marry a girl I would have to put up with that kind of behaviour anyway, so I might as well start practicing now.

On a side note, pink hair is pop.

They are all impostors and should be put in jail. Ofcourse you won't find any official Santa Clauses in the North Pole. His (and there's only one Santa Claus) exact location is a secret and must remain so forever.

Teachers. What do they know, except history, maths and stuff?

Not only the teachers, but the other kids as well told me to "be a gentleman".

This isn't a particularly interesting topic. Let's discuss the cuteness of some boy instead.

Of course, it is very possible to subvert that to your advantage. Think, wormsie. THINK!!

Teacher: "Jussi, you're being very quite. Is anything the matter?"

wormsie: "I was taught, by you, sir, that if I can find nothing good to say about someone that I should say nothing at all out of politeness. Well, I am being polite right now."

Teacher:

No-ho!

Teacher: Do you have something against me? Detention, Eskelinen!

But I can do that. Puh-leeze, I might be a stupid piece of shit, but not that stupid.

wormsie: "But, sir, I have done nothing wrong. You will send me to detention because I was being polite? Would that not be violation of the school's ethics code? Perhaps the head of the school himself can investigate this. Let's go see him now, shall we?"

OK, so eventually I would have to sue people. If it's worth it, then sure.

Now, let's talk about cute boys.

In case someone is interested. The Fine Art Of Being Come Out To: A Straight Person's Guide To Gay Etiquette.

It's really fun to read.

I read some parts of it. You're right, it's really funny at places.

I'm reading through that right now. It's pretty funny in places, too, even when dealing with the more serious parts. The great thing is, I could definitely use this. I remember one particular occasion where I was sitting on a bus going to crew practice, talking to a friend of mine, who makes a joke about me not being his type. I say something along the lines of "I think that goes without saying," and the girl sitting next to him says "You know he's gay, right?"

My response: "Ah, um, er, that is... you are? I had no idea? Okay, then."

Meanwhile both he and the girl are laughing their asses off.

Then again, considering he spent all the rest of next year going steady with a girl, maybe the signs weren't as obvious as he thought they were.
