2. Not at all, but I love trying to sing with it. 3. Going back to modernism would be a decidedly postmodern thing to do, so we're pretty much stuck for the moment. I liken postmodernism to a dog perpetually chasing its tail. It's intrinsically doomed, and, in most guises, highly irritating. Of course, it does, like anything, have its occasional virtues. But whether I like it or not, I seem to be forever its poster boy in most everything I do, and the more I try to escape from it, the more I embody it — such is its cruel irony. In other words, I have no answer to this question. Quote:

1. Baby blue.
2. With others (though it all depends on what sort of work). 3. The word itself induces a mild wince, and certainly there's a lot of rubbish out there, but I think it's a nice enough format for inane day-to-day expression. In fact, I have one of the wretched things myself. I don't, however, regularly read anyone else's blog (excluding those people I know personally, only one of whom regularly updates), nor do I seek them — little wonder, then, that nobody else reads mine. But it's nice to have a few paragraphs to play around with when you're in the mood — especially if you don't just use them to record the events of the day. --- (The thief continues) --- 1. Firstly, I've only been stoned once, never driven drunk and stole a pack of gum from a corner store when I was twelve, to answer my own questions. Secondly, they may be predictable but no more or less so than anyone else's. I'd consider the crime thing to be more of a running theme in my questions (and an unintentional at that), sort of like how food, travel and things people would change about themselves seem to pop up again and again in other people's questions.

2. Art that gives something to the audience. Preferably that something is a reaction like "that's disgusting". If that's what I get, I won't consider it good art. But what I get from it doesn't have to be beauty. (Unless you define beauty in a wider than usual way.) 3. Another hard question. Generally, I think my answer is the artist, but it's a wide (and vague) question so there can certainly be situations where I'd think the opposite. --- Instead of posting three new questions, I'm cheating and ask the next poster to answer his or her own last three questions. (Edit: That would mean that if Hammerite replies to this, he should answer the following: But since I broke the rules anyway, I guess I can't complain. I won't do it again.)
