2. One of the most amazing books I ever read is called Den vidunderliga kärlekens historia by Carl-Johan Vallgren. The English title is Horrific Sufferings of the Mind-Reading Monster Hercules Barefoot: His Wonderful Love and His Terrible Hatred which is quite far from the Swedish title that translates more like: The history of marvellous love. 3. Easier to answer: Diva by Jean-Jaques Beineix ------------ It's not out of laziness I'm using Lee's questions again. I'd love to see answers from more than just me.

2. It used to be The Schroedinger's Cat Trilogy, which is still a wonderful book, but somehow, it just doesn't seem to command my attention as much as it used to. I think my favourite book now is one of mine: Terminal Monday. 3. This one seems to have changed, too, though in a weird way that's hard to explain. It used to be a toss-up between Blade Runner and Brazil, which are both still very important movies to me. However, I think the 'movie' that is most important to me now doesn't actually exist yet, except in my mind, and will probably only ever make it as far as a plan with some scenery and dialogue written to illustrate what I'm thinking about. I have this very tricky idea for an MMO based on all those classic adventure movies, and that idea seems to be eating up all of my brainspace for favourite movies right now. Quote:

1. I think it is of a song group/kinder garden I attended in Sweden when I lived there from I was 2-4. I remember a room, a female teacher and us singing children's rhymes. Other than that I mostly remember my early years in my grandmother's garden (Horten), climbing trees and "rescuing" snails I kept in a little house in my bedroom. (yup, still scared there are snails there to this day) 2. I'm not sure I have a singular, distinct one, but my childhood in Horten before we moved to Bodo (north in Norway) always seems so sunny and care-free. 3. Some might think this is a bit silly, but I have to say the first day my current boy friend and I spent together after we stepped over the "just friends" barrier. First I must explain that I have had trouble saying no or hurting people all my life, so most of my boy friends have been people I've not been that interested in, but who asked me.. I had been interested in my (now) bf for ages, and in love with him the last six months (before we got together), but unfortunately I had been in a recently ended relationship with his best friend (read, he asked me "is it okay if I tell people we are together" after having kissed and then not talked in 3 days, I couldn't bring myself to hurt him and said yes. Then all his friend were ecstatic over him finally having found someone, and having a real relationship, etc, I didn't find a way out before after 6 months) so there were some boundaries there. We had gone to the cinema as friends, where I very subtly tried out the boundaries, and we ended up holding hands. He followed me home, I invited him in, and we ended up kissing, all through the night ('Not hyperbole, my lips were raw). The next day (he spent the night, just sleeping) it just seemed natural, no dating, no getting to know each other (we had been friends around 8 months), it was like our latent feelings had just been allowed freedom, and we were together. I just remember the next morning as really sunny, we went out together to eat lunch at a restaurant, and couldn't take our eyes or hands of each other, giggling all the time. We've spent nearly every day together since, and moved together two months after. Our one year anniversary is coming up; the 12th of April. ...... And since I really liked these questions and you deserve them for reading through that wall of text, I'm recycling Lee in Limbo's questions: 1) What is your earliest memory? 2) What is your favourite childhood memory? 3) What has been your very best day so far?

2. I have fond memories of my summer holidays at my grandparents' who lived in a tiny village in the very north of Sweden right by the Finnish border. Those summers were great since all my aunts and uncles and cousins were there too. Lots of kids to play with and the lake with a small beach within a few minutes walk. Absolutely perfect! 3. I can't pick a single day, but all those occasions where my family and I have done something fun together are really special to me. Last Christmas holiday were 16 great days for instance. It's not often one get, as a parent to almost grown up children, the chance to really spend lots of time together for so many days in a row. Lee's questions deserve to be answered by yet another forumite. They're interesting. Quote:

1. The earliest memory that I have that isn't assisted by photographs or family anecdotes is of my Montessori school circa 1989, at age 3. I know it was 1989 because my teacher would always tell us the date at the beginning of class.
2. Playing the lead in a school play and getting a standing ovation for it, and actually experiencing how it felt to be liked by my classmates for the next few weeks. 3. I think any one of the days during the week I went to Hawaii for a band trip, circa March 2001. (Also, I can't believe that was ten years ago. OMG.) --- 1. Would you be a child again, if you could? 2. Would you be a teenager again, if you could? 3. Would you let one of your younger selves inhabit your current body for a few days, if you could?
