1. I avoid txt-style spelling whenever possible. Especially now that I have an iPhone, I have absolutely no excuse.
2. I think words ending in "or" instead of "our" look weird. Almost harder and more guttural. Another thing: "foetus" is a cool word, and "fetus" is just boring. Come on, admit it. 3. Yes. Though I prefer their ambient stuff like 'Phaedra' to a lot of their later stuff.

Their early albums were brilliant meditations on sound and sequence, and created the template for most of what came after. The only real problem with their early output is that you have to have enough time to sit and listen to a few of their pieces in succession to get an idea of what they were trying to do, where you normally only have to listen to one album of any other band to get that same impression.

1. I usually do it if I want to ask a question but don't want to seem like I'm so bothered about the topic that I'd ask about it.

2. I think I tend to get on with geeks better generally (takes one to know one and all that) so I would say probably yes. To be honest i'm not much of a flirty person and am only likely to be so with someone I know fairly well or someone who seems interested anyway. Not that I do that at all since I have been married of course! 3. I certainly have a more productive time writing but as for easier, i'm not sure! 1. I'm very rarely in situations where I have to write formal letters, which I don't really like doing because it feels too stiff and artificial. I like sending and receiving the occasional handwritten message; sending postcards to my Kickstarter backers was a lot of fun, and cheered me up quite a bit while I was unemployed and home alone most days.
2. First, I think it's silly to whine about how things were so much better in the good old days when all we had was snail mail; people can and do still write letters, and no one's stopping them from doing so! That said, I grew up with the internet, so I can't imagine a world without it. Most older folks would say I'm impatient and expect too much instant gratification. They're probably right. 3. My own island. --- 1. To what extent do you care about looking good? 2. Are there things you find yourself completely unable to do when there's music playing? 3.
