Heh, and you'd have to maybe have chance to place the winning bid, because no way am I leaving the vernissage without that painting. It has a cat, and what's even more important, it has the *MOON*. That's the best combination you'd ever get! -

I think you should print T-Shirts with the moon one, It would go great on a black Tshirt what with the cat blending in to the black background
The other one would be pretty good on a Tshirt to, maybe the same one, one on the from and one on the back

it took me a wile to creat this one, i only draw when i'm extreamly stressed and i have time. this one one took me about 5 hours to draw everything, and a few more to shade, it was all done with pencil and then i did everything over in pen.

Okay, here's some of mine.
This one you might have already seen in the "Show us yer Desktop Part Deux". It's called "Heat" and it's acrylics (my second attempt at painting with acrylics ever, to tell the truth. You can see that I started the painting with the sun. Those messy lines are not flat.) on canvas board: The following two are for a Tarot deck I am working on. This one is "Death" (probably only obvious to me). Still a pencil sketch: The High Priestess (I call her "Nechet". That's a throaty "ch".). Pencil and Prismacolor pencils (first time I worked with those. They're awesome!) This one I call "Lingering Stares". Pencil: This one is for the Intro of my planned "Reality-on-the-Norm" game, if I ever get to actually making it. I think it's obvious I'm referring to something in the painting (especially if you know RotN, but that's not necessary.). Watercolours and watercolour pencils on paper: -

Maybe. Or maybe I'm just going to use it as history of the city. Do you like the twins Romul...er, I mean: Rea and Lethe? I pretty much assembled and scrapped everything and got it back (wash, rinse, repeat), so it's not very far yet. But I have been playing with the medieval idea. Though the game probably would not be in that style, because it would be hell to animate that style (it was hard enough to make the people look the way they do. It might look simple, but it's harder to do than one would think. Or maybe it's just that I am a perfectionist even when painting in a style that was created because people didn't expect it to be perfect, just do its purpose. I want it to do its purpose *and* look good!). EDIT: Thank you Lena! It's all practice, though I think I had some talent in any case (or at least I just didn't stop until I had ). If you compare art from one or two years back with what I did this year alone (or compare some pieces from the beginning of the school year with those I did recently), you'd see how much I've improved over time. Especially this year, because I've been producing art like a machine, working on my AP. -

Cat again. I'm such a one-trick pony.
Not a painting, but a comic this time. |
