Agreed. I played like 3 missions at my friend's place, and this game is the most overrated game ever. The missions are horrendous, the gameplay boring, the AI retarded.

And worst of all, multiplayer isn't even that much fun.

I played it and the AI was the worst ever, specially for a game that has been 6 years in development.

Does anyone else feel that because of the hype behind the game, that publications gave it around an 8.0 out of pity?

I totally feel that publications are being pressured to give it such a high score, either by the hype, or who knows what. Reading some of these reviews, I thought I was playing a totally different game.

I think it was alright.....it was dull and nothing like the original but Ive played worse

it would be nice if Rare make a 360 conversion of the original and kept everything there, like they did with conkers for the xbox

Amen. Many people to my face said it is awesome and it most certainly is not awesome, let alone even a "good" game.

Its terrible.

Very dull, and boy, its like that right from the begining. Then you get to the club (2nd mission) and it just gets worse (didnt' think that was possible).

Its one thing to get good scores, but the 8's and 9's I've seen are terribly misguided, when there is no way in hell to put this game in the same league as HL2 or Farcry, and THOSE are 9 games.

Remember I sold it to get NFS:MW? Why do you think I did?

It sucks, that's why!

Im kinda dissapointed with most of the 360 launch titles...
DOA looks great but that wasnt out at launch
Condemd is ok, the Scripted events are great and the story looks promising but the combat is poor
Kameois just kinda confusing to control but i havent gave it much of a chance yet
COD2 would have been good but i already got that for the pc so there wasnt much point
and i wouldnt know about the racers, im not a fan of the realistic type....cant wait for a burnout game for the 360 though

Jesus, who gives a crap if a game was out at launch or not anymore? The launch has HAPPENED already and DOA is out NOW. Pissing on about the launch now doesn't make any difference now that DOa is out. By summer, when a ton of big hitters should've been release (SHOULD heh) then continuing banging on about the launch will seem even more like sour grapes.

Of the titles available to me, Condemned has given me the scariest game since Silent Hill (easily outdoes FEAR's non original frolics), COD2 is a great conversion of a game that won't run well on my PC which would've meant tons of money on an upgrade, NFS:MW is a brilliant title in terms of gameplay but only with more sugar on the platform, Kong is a good game made more impressive by the incredible creature character models (good on all systems though) and DOA4 was released a month later and, as Mira can attest, addictive and solid. I haven't even got PGR3, which has people addicted to its online wonders, or NBA 2k6 which has had nothing but good reviews.

That's a good range of games to keep me going... I've had free time and I can barely play all the ones I've got.
