... oh, and of course, because it's the idea of some big corporation, it's evil.

Kind of like everyone was in uproar about T-Online's Chad Kroski because OMGWTF! You have to take everything in advertisements not directly describing the product seriously! ...uh... hello? The reverse is true? People? Maturity, just a bit?

Honestly, I'm seeing parallels to that thread on the forum and the T-Online ad campaign Chad Kroski/Soulmelon. If anyone else did it, people would laugh and be delighted that someone dared be a bit less serious.

It's like people are saying "OMGWTF, people treated us like we were actually adult enough to make up our own minds!"

Heh. Maybe I'm oversimplifying (knowing my luck, I probably am), but I just get sick of that.

On a purely physical basis, no. As I said, noise has no pattern, when music is made of a set of very simple waves.
As for the commonly accepted sense of noise, then if you consider music noise, then everything that you can hear is noise, and then I don't even see the point of all this.
