School, a long time ago. I've gotten even better since.

And technically, you're not seeing it, I'm seeing it.

I think it's more interesting to know how much you're remembering from reading than how fast you're reading.

I try to digest and completely comprehend what I read. I've got an excellent long-term memory.

What I meant was that a test showing how fast you read isn't as important or interesting as test of reading comprehension. At least in my humble opinion.

When I read at 320 words per minute, I do only just comprehend what I am reading. But it's not a comfortable speed, so when I want to *enjoy* reading, like when I am reading a book in my free time, I read more slowly, taking time to think about what is being said in the book, and that way I usually comprehend a lot more, and catch many more nuances.

So, while I could read at that speed at all times without losing any of the information I am reading, I do not usually do so. It's just an uncomfortable way of reading. Reading should be fun, and too often we speed along through life anyway. Soe we should at least slow down when doing something for our own pleasure.

Do not talk back at Mother, brother!

*kicks Giligan's chin, with renewed strength and emphasis after having visited a self defense workshop today.*

Aaah, you don't realise how satisfying it is to kick someone, even if it is only in the chin (we also trained kicking other, softer parts during the workshop.), if you're annoyed.

Now, seriously. That's not us. I'm your littler bigger sister (you didn't specify a year of birth in your profile, duh.), so I have a right to kick you in the shin at my leisure.

*kicks you in the shins*

And now be nice, or I'll kick you in your soft parts.

Oh, and I'd show you a much more realistic representation of what I look like when doing attacks, but my scanner doesn't work properly right now.

Oh, and you being my bigger littler brother, you have no right to hit me.

Besides if she went shirtless in public I would have a fit. Don't make me take you 2 out to the wood shed and lock you in with Uncle Moogie!

Am I the only one here that's scared by the idea of Jaz being trained in high-level self-defence?

As long as self-defense doesn't turn into go-fight-people-randomly, yes.

I've noticed that when I'm playing Phoenix Wright, Maya makes me think of Jaz.
