I keep my air rifle in the wardrobe, I sleep on my front, and I use one pillow which I tend to tuck a hand under.

I don't own a gun, I sleep lying on my right side, and I fold my left arm with my right arm on the pillow next to my face.

That was a whole load of useless and boring information, right?

Does this mean your son will no longer be allowed to have male friends?

I sleep on my side, curled up and my dog sleeps in the curve made by my legs and by hands are under my chin. I like two pillows and being under a blanket.

I usually start off sleeping on my side, but I'm a restless sleeper. I toss and turn, jerk, twitch, snore, and talk in my sleep. It's not unusual for me to wake up sideways on the bed entwined in the covers, or off the bed entirely.

I sleep in whatever narrow part of the bed my wife and the cat leave to me.. Maybe I should settle down on the nice sofa bed in the computer room.

Wow! That's really restless - I'm just the opposite - I rouse slightly, lift up the covers, and turn to the other side, then let them down again. I don't think I've ever wound up sideways in bed.

There has got to be a cheap joke involving pussy there somewhere.

If only we had someone with low enough standards to make such a joke.

Yoohoo! Seebaruk! Where are you?

Hehehe - you remind me - at one point, when I had mother and daughter cats, and I had just moved into a new house, I had to leave the front window open for them to go in and out, since they had been used to doing that in the old apartment. I was working nights and had come home and gone to bed. I woke up, in a twin bed, mind you, and couldn't move. I felt around the bed and counted one, two, three, four? cats on the bed with me. When I woke, the two males, on opposites sides of me began to fight. That was the last time I left the windows open for them!

I've developed a theory that our true selves are revealed when we sleep. You being refined and reserved and me being wild and almost dangerous could be seen as proof of this theory.

Man it would be awesome to wake up to something as random as that

I'm about as unrefined and unreserved as you could find in a woman my age, and you, you're our very own Southern gentleman - so much for that theory!

@ Karmillo - well, I did have to laugh at it.

Pillows are not really the problem. Covers are. They never have real covers even in the best of hotels! They are always open ones, and I always manage to kick them partly off. Youth Hostel covers are even worse, because I always manage to tie myself up in the long cover that acts as bedsheet and cover for the covers at the same time.

At home I have four covers, which I layer depending on how cold it is. I hate to freeze.

Shag, I was sure my 'cheap-joke-ometer' was going off before, but I ignored it. Sorry I got here late!

Apparently I talk in my sleep a lot. I blame Larium. Ever since I took that stuff for a few weeks in Asia I've had really vivid dreams, which are still continuing even though I haven't taken any for 2 years.

What is Larium? Some sort of malaria preventative?

Tis indeed matey. The strongest one you can get, at least thats what I was told before I went off to Asia. I've spoken to people who say they've had hallucinations on it, but I just remember every detail of every dream when I wake up. Which really sucks when you have nightmares.
