I'd rather play something involving high-powered weaponry.

Very well; I shall use this fireplace poker, which needs something to do now that warmer weather has arrived.
Well, I'm not exactly jealous. But tell me, do you have a licencse for that fire poker? If not, I'm afraid I'll have to send my evil twin after you.

Yeah.

*pokes with Poking Stick of OOOOOM* +7* So have ye a licencse, or have you not?

I don't need no stinking license!

Actually, as a dutiful scofflaw, I would be ashamed of taking out a license for my fireplace poker. And frankly, I find words a more elegant weapon. Having said that, however, I must admit to being a straight-up pacifist; I use sticks and pokers for prodding purposes only.

I am my own evil twin.

Carry on.

*sighs*

Naturally.

Early this morning, as I was running in the park, I passed an older gentleman slumped over on a park bench. I wasn't sure if he was dead or merely asleep, and I didn't have my fireplace poker with me, so I was quite relieved when he twitched a little as I ran by. Spring can really hang you up the most.

All the world seems in tune
on a Spring afternoon
when we're poisoning pigeons in the park.

How Lehrer of you.

I also saw in the park a barefoot man carrying a guitar. As I approached him, I gave him my best midtown Manhattan scowl, guaranteed to keep 98.8% of the population at bay. I rarely have to use it here in suburbia, so it was sort of fun.

Ah, we have much alike, then. I personally prefer words over weapons, too, and in a way, the licence requirement is to encourage people to practice wit a bit more often. *sighs* Sadly, few people get the hint.

Very well, if, like me, you merely use it for poking, you won't need a licence.

*pokes and runs*

Also, speaking of the O, he did another great comic about Ninja (the one that my quote is from was about how silly most "Horro" movies are, especially the way the people in them behave.). And he made a list of the 27 senses of the Ninja:

Quote:
The 27 sharply attuned senses of the NINJA:
  1. Flip sense
  2. Smell
  3. Touch and taste (ninja join these two in order to generate an extra slot for another sense… they’re awesome, that way).
  4. Hearing
  5. Balance
  6. Common
  7. Memory
  8. Electroreception
  9. Echolocation
  10. Nociception
  11. Proprioception
  12. Magnetoception
  13. Polarization
  14. Cosmic awareness (AKA “hippie sense”)
  15. Humor (lack of it)
  16. Slashness (the sense that allows a ninja to randomly slash little flying stuff like a fly or an apple)
  17. Responsibility
  18. Sex (AKA “Mojo”)
  19. Direction (AKA never-need-to-ask-where-you’re-going)
  20. Good wine
  21. Purpose (AKA finding your inner self or path)
  22. Timing
  23. Rhythm (AKA the “groove”)
  24. Sixth
  25. Impending doom
  26. Gaydar
  27. Extra slot for new sense conveniently generated to win a battle

Truly, the ninja are a magnificent people.

Good hunting;
O

And I'm posting this list, because had I been drinking something at the time of reading one of the comments on it, I'd be wiping my screen dry now:

My favourite strip will still be the Ninja and Animals strip. ^_^

Seriously, I was sitting on the bus recently, thinking:

"Man, it would be awesome if I could somehow pull of an anti-crime without getting in trouble for it."

You know, just to see the clueless faces of the investigators once they reach the "crime" scene.

Poor Mr. Lacey. I see that perfect is once again morphing to fit your inimitable shape.

It will all be over very soon, eh?
