Right 44 Magnum Red. Left LAW Rocket Blue.

Does that work for you?

Well, a LAW is really more for tanks, so the guy with the Magnum would be hopelessly outgunned. But that's totally cool.

Giligan, seriously, you should consider becoming a Navy Seal. Weapons and sailing--right up your alley, yes?

I've actually done a lot of thinking about joining the military. If I don't get accepted at any of the colleges I apply to, however likely or unlikely that may be, it's certainly an option I'd turn to.

Ah, but if the guy with the LAW misses on his first shot he's screwed, since he can't reload quickly. The Magnum guy is, on the other hand, carrying a weapon light enough to allow dodging with multiple spare rounds if the first one misses.

Really, boys and their exceedingly loud and often dangerous toys. It's so...Freudian.

End of thread.

I would agree with you, but I can't as that's sort of the point of the job.

Yes, but then the guy shooting the LAW would need to be far away from the blast to protect himself, and the guy with the Magnum wouldn't be able to shoot accurately over the distance.

I am delighted that The Unbelievable Truth was given a second series on Radio 4 .

So in the extreme version of Twister, the guy with the LAW would be completely stuffed. Twister is played at close quarters so he wouldn't be able to use his weapon at all. (The LAW that is. Not any Freudian equivalent)

We appear to be driving Merricat out. Do you think all this gun talk will expel Robert as well?

Well, yeah, but I'm not sure what taxidermy has to do with it.

Nah. In this thread, he's like one of those annoying little bees that won't stop buzzing around your head no matter how many times you swat at it.
