Yep, the background. And the entire haircolour. I kept the existing pencil so it had a bit more texture.

Bobby McFerrin had a similar song, so it might have been. I'm not sure, one song was "Don't worry, be happy" and the other was "Three little birds". The former didn't facilitate the use of musical instruments, though, or so I've heard. But then the version I have uses the title lyrics of the former and it has musical instruments, so I really don't know.

Here's a larger version of my avatar, in case you're interested:

I love how the background turned out. It really was pure improvisation, especially the mountains in the background. And I'm really glad the hair did turn out the way it did, as I really wasn't sure I would manage to colour it properly on the computer.

On a side note, I really want to meet one of those people who will say to me "Vegetarians are the better people", only so I can respond, with a neutral look on my face: "Hitler was a Vegetarian."

Of course, now we only have to find a bad person that was a Vegan, in order to have the ultimate weapon against those fanatics.

Yeah, but Hitler wasn't a vegetarian.

He just didn't eat a lot of meat as it disagreed with him, he still enjoyed liver however.

Oh, but I too hate vegetarians, and their holier-than-thou attitude.

Why does your elf look so sad?

Psst! Don't tell them, or we don't have a weapon agains them any longer.

Also, liver is not meat. It's liver. I'll for today consider only muscle meat. Sure, it's both part of the body, but liver is liver, meat is meat. And liver grows back even if a large part is removed(wouldn't it be nice if the rest of the body did that too?).

She's a Dunmer, a Dark Elf.

Dunmer (the Dark Elves) is doon-MARE. Means 'Dark Folk.' Colovian hicks say DUHN-merh, but the Dark Elves laugh at them or strike at them, depending upon the number of hicks present.

And I could go on and say that she's said because of the exploitation of Argonians and Khajits as slaves...but to tell the truth, she's just sad they took away her favourite toy, namely a pointy stick she liked to poke people with (especially her immediate underlings, when they were not grovelling appropriately. Of course she didn't demand them to grovel, but she was not going to tell them they didn't need to grovel. And if they were going to grovel anyway, they might as well do it correctly.). She called it her poking stick of doom, and it was very dear to her. So that's why she looks so sad.

Why are there no hot chicks in the Elder Scrolls universe?

They're all hideous or ancient.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Or something.

Or maybe Bethesda have decided to teach you a lesson regarding ogling virtual characters...

You need to watch some Will & Grace, so you can recognise my references, and we may engage in witty repartee.

Maybe. Of course, that chick who's always outside the Imperial Prison, the one who is always extremely pleasant to you no matter how many times you're thrown in prison for hienous crimes against Cyrodill, like theft, trespassing, murder, genocide, etc. etc. She's certainly worth ogling, now, isn't she? She's no doubt the owner of the sexiest chainmail dress in all of Tamriel.

Because Bethesda fails at modelling faces realistically, it seems.

The fans however, do not:

Don't ask

I said, don't ask.

Here you may ask.

Ask...if you dare.

I like this combination

Isn't my Kimono Pretty?

Hands off the blonde Bosmer, she's just a kid. But Shani, the red haired Dunmer in the nize black and grey clothes is up for grabs (though she might be more than you can handle ). Umm...and never mind Leif...

...though I admit, he can be hard to ignore at times...

So, are you saying that there's no hot females in Morrowind? I didn't take any pictures of the nude dancers in the House of Earthly Delights, though they certainly are not ugly.

Or do I have to send Izumi after you?

By the way, Alhain, my Dunmer character is already taken. That handsome blackhaired Dunmer there is very possessive of her.
