Eva Longoria is so hot.

Otherwise, it was meh. Tell them they look awesome, reporters, we know you're getting paid to shamelessly shower them with flatteries!

We're not talking about the pre-show, here.

They played a Journey song and had a special Family Guy sketch which mocked contemporary television, it even makes up for what a terrible host Seacrest is.

The Family Guy bit was pretty cheesy. I missed the Journey song, though.

And Ryan Seacrest was pretty bad, yes. It was so rehearsed. Unfortunately, almost all the speeches and presentations were pretty bad as well. I don't care who Patty is or what she did to make the show what it was, I just want the guy to take the statue and leave the stage.

So that's why she's getting so much praise, people in Hollywood love their Scientologists.

In other news, Helen Mirren is awesome. Quintessentially British, but she is undoubtably the coolest old bag.

Have you scientifically analysed data to back up this hypothesis?

Were you aiming for indubitably here?

Yes, but alas, my brain has no USB ports, so all is lost.

And I believe the term I'm looking for is "undeniably".

I don't know if that is what they were specifically talking about, but I liked the movie "Pleasantville". You really should watch it. It's great. It even has a book burning.

Ugh, I hate the masses.
Yeah, and it makes idiots in Berlin stand around in the street with big signs, looking for pity from an uncaring audience (though I can't blame them), and referring to the "Insurance(or the appropriate term at hand) Mafia"

And yeah, Masses in general are just too dumb.

Guys, I need emotional support.

I'm mourning the loss of my ocarina. It was lying on my table, and I accidentally got caught on the string it was on, and it fell of and shattered.

I only had it like three days!

Somebody hug me...

Aww, there there. (((Jaz)))

I'm sure the spirit of your ocarina will live on.

Doesn't "all is lost" apply from the moment you said you were using YOUR brain to compile these statistics?

These sentences should never appear together.

(((Jazzy)))

I take it we're talking shattered in a non-fixable way here. I'm good with glue and jigsaw puzzles if I can be any help that way.

I didn't say it was good *because* it has book burning, it's good because it shows that the book burning is a bad thing. But I agree, that came out wrong a little bit.

Well, I was able to fix it to a point, but it still has a hole where some pieces where too small for me to fit them in and some pieces were missing because they were basically pulverised when they landed on the floor.

As far as I can tell, so far I can still actually play the Ocarina despite the extra hole, and it sounds about right, though I think it's slightly off-tune/no longer tuned to G now.

I'm getting a new one, in any case, but I'm also keeping this one - I hope I will be able to get another one with this exact pattern (an inca style bird in in gold on white, with some red decoration around it).

Also, I had ordered another Ocarina which had 12 instead of 10 holes, which I hope will arrive soon. Let's hope it doesn't meet the same fate, especially since Ocarinas with 12 holes are quite a bit harder to find.

Thanks for the support guys. It really helped.

A-ha! I never *actually* said that, did I?

I'll fix it for you.

And sorry to hear about the ocarina, Jazzy. I have no idea what it is, some sort of fattening pumpkin-based snack cake, isn't it?
