My Nephew would love you. He's Animal daft. It's a bit off putting when at 5 years old he wants you to read a book points at an animal and says "what's that" and you say it's a Otter and the little smart-arse then tells you "It's not a seal Uncle Paul! That's a Weasel"

Hi Rachel, I'm Oto, the resident mentally unbalanced snake. I'll be 26 in two months and I play only games whose titles begin with a letter A. I'll move onto B when I get a new haircut and then onto K when I lose all my hair. Welcome to this wonderful place of wonderfulness!

Hey can you guys recommend a really great adventure game for me? I can't find anything I might like.
Something along the lines of Kings Quest and Kyrandia- fiction/fantasy/magic. Nothing creepy or weird- I scare easily.

Er.. Quest for Glory might suit your fancy. Heavy on the fiction, fantasy and magic, and an RPG to boot. The fourth game, Shadows of Darkness, has a creepy setting, but in the strictest 'monster movie' fantasy sense -- it's very Transylvanian. And even then, the QFG games are pretty light-hearted and all have their share of good humor. Y'know... that panning stuff's pretty fun...

Info? OK
I'm Robert, I'm 19 in a little under a fortnight, and I'm an Oxford [Modern ] History student. Occasionally I write something for this site, but the rest of the time I try to avoid being noticed by Jack . I also spend years failing to update my website, but that might change soon. The first AG I played (leaving aside Interactive Fiction) was Monkey Island 2, so I came out a LucasArts fan. I also play a lot of games from other genres nowadays, though . And a game recommendation? |

Hi there, welcome to the forums.
I'm Julien, 25, french, and my avatar is Jenifer Connelly shouting underwater in Requiem for a Dream. (in case anybody is still wondering ) Fiction/fantasy/magic -> Simon the Sorcerer, Death Gate, for the older games, and The Longest Journey, for the "newest" one. As for the upcoming, keep an eye out for Keepsake.
