Oops sorry, my mistake. The series was originally conceived as a trilogy, but the developers figured the story could be told in two parts instead of three (not to mention the potentially lengthy development time for a third game.) Here's the AG interview with Zoetrope Interactive.

Oh don't get me started on this shit title.
I played a lot of games in my time and I have never experienced
such high levels of boredom. It left a rather bad taste in my mouth.
Maybe the second one will be a huge improvement.... will see.

It's a matter of taste. For me it's a solid game and AG think the same. They gave 3.5 stars out of 5 for this game. I agree with that.

I don't get it. You waited divorce to play adventure games again? Don't tell my that your ex-wife forbade you to play games?

This is certainly a possibility but I still wouldn't jump to this conclusion. Getting a couple of kids of my own I have noticed how much time I have left to play and it's not too much. If games weren't my #1 hobby I could easily see myself having to put whole gaming thing aside until the kids grow up. Currently it is my reading that's suffering, I read probably a book per year now instead of a book per week like before.
