Are you kidding me ?
They are great ! Make em longer I´d really like to take part in this, but I have to work 6 days (+ 1 day rehearsals) a week till end of march. Bad timing for my part. At the moment I prefer watching Sopranos from beginning to end over playing computer games in the evenings But I read through the threads (and especially this one) with great interest. read ya later ! |

Why thank you, Tio!!! That really made my day!
Fien-Hmm, good question. Now, my memory may be a bit sketchy, but Nigel tries everywhere, he's seen everywhere in the museum...wherever he can get his hands on, or more correctly, feet. Did we not even *see* Nigel near that part in the night museum, or even the 1st time we came here? I'm pretty sure Nigel would scower everywhere, but I can not remember off the top of my head if we actually *make* Nigel do what he's doing. But then again, like the pictures we see later that you mentioned, I don't remember some of those happening, either. Sorry for not answering too clearly; my brain is really scattered right now.

I don't know if we can see Nigel in that part of the museum at night, Fantasy, I didn't try to go there. Stupid me, I should have after I watched the monitors, didn't think of it. The first time he talked to professor Oogle of course, but in his usual pose with his hands at his side. You can't make him hold a camera if there's nothing to record.
PS: Well, I have a save in the museum, so I went back and checked. Nigel can go to the counter at the entrance, but filming or taking pics is not possible. Nice detail: If you zoom in on the brochures, you can see the last two digits of the code (..81) through the window. Last edited by Fien; 03-17-2009 at 10:11 PM. |

A few things from Day Three which I find interesting:
When Nigel tells Lucy about his experience on the beach, she says: “When we’re done here, you’re gonna see Dr. Black.” Wasn’t Dr. Black the physician of Christina, Molina’s wife... is he or his ghost still practising? Looking quite young too, painting near the cave. The blood on the rock outside Net House. You can see it only after you’ve asked Lucy what brought her here: the trail of blood. How come she can see it when Nigel can’t? The mysterious photos of Nigel and Lucy. Three are too blurred to make out anything. In six pics we see Nigel at the Karswells, in the church near Old Nick, outside a church, in the dark somewhere, at the train tracks, inside a shop or restaurant (The Lighthouse?) – all of them places where he’s actually been. There are two photos of him in a train, probably the Sleepwalker. One pic of Nigel in an unfamiliar street (looks more like London than Saxton to me). Hm... odd, but so far still possible. And then there are seven pics of Lucy, either alone or with Nigel, and in all of them she’s wearing a sort of cap! We have never seen her wear anything on her head. I suppose the unknown photographer could have taken two pics of her at some fair (not the May Day Fair!) before she arrived in Saxton, but the five pics of her and Nigel make no sense: outside Harbour Cottage going down the steps, something she has never done; in front of a house I don’t recognize; against a cloudy sky; on the fair again; and ringing/knocking/opening the door of a house we haven’t seen in a street we don’t know. What does all this mean? It's can't be the future, that much I know from my previous playthrough. Alternate reality stuff, Hadden doing a Photoshop job on the pics or are we back to the disappointing theory of it’s-all-one-big-dream and the incongruous pics represent “real events” in Nigel’s “real past”? |

bidfrog, I can send you a save of Nigel before the photos, before he opens the drawer. I managed to reproduce your bug by using the walkie-talkie. Don't use it to call Lucy, don't do anything, just wait till she contacts you and then answer her call.
PS: I get an upload error, can't attach the file. I'm too stupid to know what's wrong. So, I can send it to you by email or you'll have to wait for Fantasy or someone else to help you out. |

Well Fein sent me the save file. Tomorrow I'll reinstall and God willing be able to join the playthrough. Oh and it took me a minute to catch it, but wouldn't it be "rabidfrog" for short and not "bidfrog" like The Rabid Frog.

Hello, i was ill and couldn't help Nigel the last week.
Doesn't seem to me that i missed much here. We play till "Day 3: Deception", is this right? Is the Black Death the beginning of the Ager Brothers and their strange traditions? We know they had a duty - but who gave it to them? Who was the first person? Not an Ager. Perhaps during the Black Death, so may people dying, some parts of an older traditon were lost and the Ager-Brothers took over, but misunderstood everything and perverted the duty? The Book named V2in Rhys shop says: Beltane is the night of the Great Hunt, when Grimdread himself sought to escort the wretched souls. What does this say about the May Day Faire? And the ghosts of Saxton? |

Finally i got there: day three: Deception.
Good luck to you, rabidfrog. Here my thoughts ands questions: The name AGER means: "member of the crow family" (as we can see in the "Olden Families of Anglia". We know that the crows are the spys of the Dark Lord. And we see how evil the Ager-brothers are. Gurney says: "I captured the crows." He tried to fight against the Ager-brothers but he was captured and murdered by Thomas Ager. But he revealed a secret sign to Nigel. Spoiler: On the other hand we know, that Ganwulf build a guardian army to guard the land. And we know the land will be save as long as the crown ist buried somewhere. I believe the folk that Ganwulf has build his army upon are the "ghost" like Nanny Naoh and the others. Kind people (and therefore kind ghosts) who love the town, the nature and its inhabitants. The Agers appeared at the time of the Black Death. Half of the people died - surely this would not happened if the crown was on a save place. Later the plague came, there are the missing cats, the ghost of Verenity an Emil. There is the accident with the apple train. The Agers are definitely on the same side as the Dark Lord an the Fenlaria. And they seem to have the Crown. They want to keep it to do bad things. The towns ghosts or the guardians want the crown back - is this the reason they are waiting for Nigel to arrive? They help Nigel. Sorry if i write a bit laboriuos - my english is a bit rusted. |

Ok never mind. The save Fienepien sent me is actually at the museum and not the net shop. Still I appreciate you taking time to send it to me. If any one else still has a boat house save could they send me a private message and I"ll give you my email.

Wait... you uninstalled the game, right? Maybe your own saves were not deleted and now you're looking at your own museum save? Just a thought.
