Hmm, based on the previous hints, would 2 be from the Mayan or Shambhala segment of Beyond Atlantis/Atlantis II?

nice work Trunkyo! It's indeed song called Tepec while in Mexico. And here's the review of that soundtrack.

I thought it's gonna be even more harder, but you were right up to it. I'm still not sure about the Cameron Files 2 and Road to India as where exactly the songs play, i think they are main themes as well. |

I think the Road to India one plays during the game, and it would make sense for it to play in the temple at the end, but I remember that section being quiet.

Kurufinwe, your medley mp3 from page 17, what is the game at 04:43 to 05:18? It's a groovy upbeat violin and harmonica piece, sounds like stephane grappelli meets toots thielman. Love it!
Here's one I just made. It's a game I've not finished and have continued it again today. The music throughout is great but this piece is my favourite. I left some sound effects in so you'll probably get the game easily. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/merlin....ysterygame.mp3 |

It's music time again! Spring is in the air, and what better thing to do than to listen to some game music?! Well... for a couple of us music fanatics at least. You know the drill - there are 20 music pieces from 20 different games, don't guess 'em all at once. No tricks this time - no hybrid adventures and all tunes are from relatively well known games, although some of them might spice the things up. Good luck! SPRING MEDLEY, 11 MB MIRROR 1 If you have troubles with the download, tell me and i'll upload it to another server. THE PLAYLIST 1. 00:00 2. 00:36 3. 1:00 4. 1:34 5. 2:01 6. 2:41 7. 3:23 8. 4:03 9. 4:44 10. 5:20 11. 5:57 12. 6:37 13. 7:07 14. 7:40 15. 8:08 16. 8:47 17. 9:33 18. 10:09 19. 10:46 20. 11:29 Last edited by diego; 05-20-2011 at 07:43 PM. |

Thanks for putting this together, Diego! And a nice selection, too.
No. 1 is driving me crazy! There's one game that really comes to mind, but since I'm almost certain that No. 3 is from the game in question, then 1 must be something else... And I can't put my finger on it. Argh. Anyway, let's start with the low-hanging fruits (though not the lowest-hanging fruits, I still have some pride left): I'm pretty sure that 14 is Spoiler: |

A welcome change from the visual quizzes, Diego! Although my musical memory is not very good. For me, the lowest-hanging fruit are the games I instantly recognize, within one or two seconds. Only 5 of those in this quiz. Kuru has got a point, so I'll skip all low-hanging fruit and go out on a limb.
10. Spoiler: |

Yay, another music quiz! A great selection, diego. I'm pretty sure of six of them, and a few others I just know I've heard before but can't quite place.
Is 19. from Spoiler:

Wow, I'm very curious about some of these tunes. The only ones I could recognize were very iconic ones, though. Such as number 6:
Spoiler:Number 20 sounded like it may have been composed by Spoiler:but I suppose it might as well not be. I haven't played the game it's taken from, anyway. |

Ok, let's see... #1 is correct kate me - there you go Kurufinwe #14 is also right, Samael the piano player:
Lewton: Play it again, Sam. Samael: You know what? No one's ever going to believe you said that. Fien, that's not it, this one is more recent than TLotPatA, although it also involves some middle-eastern country, or more specifically it's heard while the hero is in one of the more popular "adventure game region" #19 is correct too (see if you can place it), and the rest of the guesses are right. @harald i don't know how you did it but you got the composer right! now try to guess which game is it as for the Freddie Pharkas song, i used the non-singing version, you can find the singing one featuring Al Lowe himself here and the Gray Matter one which plays in main menu is piano version of David's theme as ollie said, which you can find here 1. 00:00 Broken Sword - Hotel Ubu [kate me] 2. 00:36 3. 1:00 Gray Matter - Main Menu Theme [ollie] 4. 1:34 5. 2:01 6. 2:41 Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist - The Ballad of Freddy Pharkas (Prologue) [harald] 7. 3:23 8. 4:03 9. 4:44 10. 5:20 11. 5:57 12. 6:37 13. 7:07 14. 7:40 Discworld Noir - Cafe Ankh [Kurufinwe] 15. 8:08 16. 8:47 17. 9:33 18. 10:09 19. 10:46 Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within, where? [Trunkyo] 20. 11:29 Quote:
