actually on the pool safe, any combination of the 4 correct numbers is the solution

and here are some blatant hints as to how you get those numbers (yes the solution is in here)

Spoiler:
first look at the balls on the table.................pink, brown, blue, and 11 red balls

then look at the balls in the pockets on the sides of the table................yellow, and 2 red

now look at the sheet to see the complete set of balls................ red (15), yellow, green, blue, pink, brown, black

now you should notice that the green, black, and 2 red balls are missing

the corresponding numbers for these balls (on the score sheet) are 1, 3, and 7

so the numbers in the combination are 7113.....................and you can enter them in any order (all combinations of those 4 numbers work)

Nevermind about my fountain question figured it out and beat the game totally on my own from there. Was on a roll man...
It helps if one doesnt always stop and ask for directions but get's there ultimately easier on his own by just trusting him/herself.

The $ slider is the most stupid and frustrating thing in the game since it's not really a logic puzzle just something you just have to hack away with.
The "LEE" note I got from it was totally worthless to me when I got to it.
When approaching the alphabet cipher puzzle in the main sitting room. The Guy says it reminds him of those used in the Civil War. That was my clue so it was Yeehaw! and off to google...

I stonewalled that motherfuckin puzzle to submission!

If your neurotic like I am and still want to do the dollar. A good tip is to make the 2 bottomw rows first from right to left and then 2 again and so forth form right to left. Figuring out where exactly each pieze goes is good tooo

Hmm... at the moment, I have 6 different pussles that are unsolved. And of these, there are 3 where I dont have to get any extra key or something to solve it. These 3 are:

Safe with laser beam in the workshop.
A panel needing a 4 digit code in the Museum.
The panel by the door in the Study, I got the keycard there, but have no code.

(the other 3 unfinished puzzles for me are the fountain, safe in the small sitting room, and the big safe in thw workshop, where everything is stuck)

All I wonder, is where to find any clue for any of those 3 first safes. Since whats basicly is missing for each of them, is a code.

Actually, only one of them has a code that can be found in the game. One of the others has a setting that you must deduce from a clue and the third can be cracked through close observation.
