hey,

I've installed the french dvd version of Amerzone on XP. Once I get to the main menu, sections of the windows toolbar start flickering into the game screen, and keep doing it once I start up the game too. I've tried 98/ME compatibility and also fooled around with my 3d acceleration settings. any further ideas would be appreciated.

Maybe try upgrading (or downgrading) your video drivers? What are your system specs?

EDIT: A few other thoughts -- change your screen resolution to whatever the game requires (probably 640x480) before you run the game, and/or set your toolbar to auto-hide (right-click the tool bar and go to Properties). Or, if you already have it set to auto-hide, disable that.
