You mean, like getting back on topic? Unreal Engine 3 is the basis of an unannounced next-generation title from Epic Games, aimed at upcoming consoles and 2006 PC's, they say. I guess, that's the final nail in the coffin for my rig. I'm not quite sure, but could it be that I read something about a new technology to render forests and trees?

There's no jiggle. No wobble, no coins bouncing off them... They're stationary 3D renders, and not all that exciting either.
I stand by my position that there needs to be more research and development in realistic ass physics in 3D games. Maybe 3DFX could break back into the market, or Nvidia recover ground to the current ATI dominance by releasing a PCIe ass accelerator card which can handle the complex texturing, light & shadow, jiggle and scrunchyness physics of asses. |

There's a new Action/RPG/whateveryouwanttocallit in development (powered by Unreal 3 tech): Elveon by 10tacle Studios. I wonder where they got their name from. You too? Here are the pritty pritty pictures. Mhhh, nice.

So true, but great modern games are a unification of all three elements.
