Default The first Revolution scans

The screens are from a game called Red Steel. It's made by Ubisoft Paris and looks quite nice!

EDIT: I fixed the links.

That looks none too shabby. And even if it fails to look as good as some of the currently in production "next gen" titles, it's certainly not rubbish .

Meh, looks good, but really, no better than what we've seen on Xbox 360 or PS3 thus far. And at this point I think the graphics seem similar on all systems, so what I prefer to focus on is the gameplay and unique concepts. In other words, it's a matter of how good the content of the games are.

At this point comparing systems based primarily on graphics is getting redundant, don't you agree?

Not when Nintendo have stated that the Revolution isn't trying to compete in terms of graphical power. If that's the case, and yet the games being made for it still look good, then surely it's a good point that deserves to be made?

Of course the controller is important. But, let's face it, Nintendo are hardly going to have a wildly successful console if all the games look like Wolfenstein 3D, are they ?

I doubt Rev games would ever look better than Xbox 360 or PS3 ones, considering Revolution is quite a bit less powerful.

Looks like the old arcade games with the gun controller, but the gun is replaced with a remote controller.

I'd say it's an FPS, notice how people on the scans also use the analog stick part of the controller.

Anyway, more scans.

I have no idea, but it's supposed to be rather cheap. E3 is soon...

Rumors right now are that it's hovering around $150-200.

And the graphics aren't impressive compared to the 360 or the PS3, but they're a lot better than people were expecting considering the specs. Combine that with the awesome control method and the success of the DS and you'll see why people are interested in this, despite being so odd.
