Default Here's......Lara! (Platform question)

Hi
'm not sure wether to buy TRL for PC or PS2. I want to be able to save my game at any given time. Does anyone know if this is possible in the PS2-version or will there only be checkpoints?
Thanks for your help!

There will be MANY checkpoints. And yes you'll probably be able to save your game on both. Although the PS2 version is probably going to have frame rate issues, rather get the PC version so that you can get patches and stuff.

I'm a bit worried about the idea of a checkpoint save system. Galleon used a checkpoint system and it worked out horrendously for that type of game. You'd spend ages going around picking up items, and then you would slip off a cliff and it's instant death! I really hope this isn't going to be the case with TR:L.

Also, I've been hearing whispers that there are demo(s) out now, anyone know for which platforms and where you'd get one?

The prince of persia games showed me checkpoints can work. Also, I never had to quicksave in FEAR due to its checkpoints......they could have forced me to use them and I wouldn't have complained. I think developers are getting better when it comes to this sort of thing.

Prince of Persia, of course, silly me. Yeah, that system worked pretty well, definitely added to the gameplay. So hopefully TRs will be quite similar to that.

I might try picking up the XBox demo next week out of curiosity, though I probably won't buy the actual game till it's a bit cheaper.
