You guys are totally mixed up.

The one that Edward linked to is the Real Top 20. The only one that matters.

The one that Eye-Z linked to was just sort of a goof. But I'm glad you liked it anyway.

I'm surprised that I have played 14 out of the 20 games on that list, and until recently, I hadn't played an adventure game since Broken Sword 2 came out.

I really have to disagree with Space Quest IV being on the list though. I would rather see Space Quest I or V. Maybe I'm just bitter that I could never finsh SQIV since the game always crashed near the ending.

I don't mind addressing that--with a couple years of hindsight, and having replayed the SQ series since then, I'd say that Space Quest IV (along with Maniac Mansion) is probably not a game that deserved to be on the list. I think that my gut feeling now is that SQ5 is really the best of the series, but probably still not deserving of a Top 20 spot.

But hey, give me six or seven chances and I'll get the countdown perfect eventually.
