Default read/unread threads

Why is it that sometimes when I close the browser window with this forum and then come to the forum again in a few minutes, the forum forgets what threads I have already read (even though there are no new posts since I read them)?

Yes, I'm sure. Any new posts show up, but the threads that were 'read' before are now 'unread'.

Me 2. I just figured it was something you had to live with... It also clears all unread pages if I keep a page from the forums open for too long...

Happens to me all the time. I've sort of become good at avoiding it by instinctively knowing the limit of keeping windows open and that sort of thing. Geez, I use these forums too much...

I usually have a "Who's online" tab open when I use the AG and this solves the problem of all threads being marked as read if you happen to not use AG forums for a short while. I also don't get the problem of getting alot of having lots of unread threads.

I didn't say I look at it that often. It just reloads alot so that the forum is fooled into thinking I'm constantly online.

Oh, and I know what you're doing trepizoid.

That's what you think. It's just a facade, when you're least aware of it I will sneak up on you.
