Hahah! That's for sure!
After all, it's a Stallone movie.

The Prestige does indeed look cool.
The book was fantastic.

At first this felt like a really interesting movie, but by the time I finished watching the trailer, it ended up being not so interesting movie at all...

I can't watch it . Buffering stops at 80%. But why didn't they cast Talia Shire as his wife? At least Paulie will return.

I couldn't watch the trailer at home (creaky, slow dial up) but read about the story and saw some stills. It looks great! I'm a sucker for that time period (1940's).
The Black Dahlia Inspired by the most notorious unsolved murder in California history. Edit: Also, Scarlett Johansson looks fabulous. Her looks go so well with the 1940's fashion and hairstyles. Last edited by Melanie68; 08-19-2006 at 09:30 AM. |

Apple.com is better for trailers.
The trailer does look interesting, but hell yeah, I watch anything that has Scarlett Johansson in it.

EDIT: Oh, and while it's hard to beat Lost in Translation Scarlett, I'd say the 40s look is actually kinda nice for her. She was a girl made for period pieces by the look of her: alabaster skin, full lips, healthy body. And red lipstick on fair skin is great, I think. |

Speaking of Superman (after I saw Kolzig's post in Recent Movies Seen), a new movie coming out (September 8) - Hollywoodland is supposedly about the death of George Reeve (the original Superman). It looks at the rumour that it was a murder. I had only seen the posters for it at the theatre and didn't realize it was about that.

But yes, that movie does sound interesting, there is a lot of strange unexplained stuff behind the death of Mr. Reeves.
