Mira, you look absolutely beautiful in your kebaya.

Squarejaw, I'd like to suggest a wife-beater string vest and kilt combo for your embarassing photo. Please, no flat cap though.

Ok, I'm trying to get over my frustration at not being able to play Indigo Prophecy (see skipping dvd thread in chit chat), so I guess I'll post a little picture of me here. Not really funny, except if you know that I'm actually scared out of my mind in this pic, since I didn't really realize that I was scared of heights until after we went hiking in Camden, Maine.

Isn't Maine gorgeous? I used to love going up to Maine every summer. A friend of mine had a cottage on a lake near Mt Katahdin, that we used to stay at.

I absolutely loved it there, Lynsie. I'm dying to go back to Camden especially. It's such a cute town sandwiched between the mountains and the water. We stayed at this really cute B&B and had the very best breakfasts -- stuffed french toast with ice cream .

My very first hike ever was up Mt. Katahdin (the same name for Mt. Cardigan, right?). BF thought he could take me up the hard route, and thoroughly regretted it when I was clinging to the rockface near the top. I never thought I would make it up any further and I was sure they'd have to bring in helicopters to rescue me!

No, I don't think it's the same - Mt Katahdin is quite a ways inland, and is Maine's highest mountain. It is in Baxter State Park. Mt Katahdin you can drive half way up, and there is a hot springs kind of pool, and a small waterfall as well. From the top on a clear day you can see ocean, and Boston, maybe even the lighthouse in Provincetown. Can't remember for sure.

You're right. I was getting it mixed up with Mt. Cardigan in New Hampshire! Oops!

I don't have any funny ones, but there's me from about 3 weeks and 10 pounds ago. BTW, that dark area underneath my ear is a shadow....it almost makes me look like I have some funky mullet. My hair is probably half that length, now:

Mira, gorgeous red gown ya got there. Frames your beauty quite fittingly.

natalia, so that's you! Quite a pleasure, indeed. You kinda remind me of my oldest niece, who also has a voluptuously womanly body balanced by a comfortingly beautiful face.

Orange Brat, how disappointing. You're not orange at all. And you don't look even remotely bratty. Ah well, since your face is so warm and pleasant I'll take you anyway.

Mira: So purty! I wish I had a cool dress like that (though I wouldn't look half as good in it. )

Natalia: So purty, too! Voluptuous girls of the world, unite! (I dig the braid, too!)

Orange: Friendly face, light eyes, glasses... give me a minute to think... *swoons*

Finally! A picture of me taken at Red Square! Well, not exactly. Behind, you can see the red building known as the Russian State Museum. The Red Square, where the infamous St. Basil's Cathedral, Kremlin and Lenin's Mausoleum are beyond that, but sorry, folks! I was too lazy to walk there to take pictures. He he!
