Oruzjem Protivu Otmicara - Voajer
Mahnem mu da zna da Vidim ga i sada Sprat nize je Masem mu da zna da Vidim ga i sada Znam da gleda me Pa neka gleda me Roletne nikad ne spustam Svetlo nikad ne gasim Samo on me gleda Jedini je koga zanimam Ne znam Kako Da mu kazem da sam nesretna Imam svoga voajera Dvogledom me posmatra Samo da mu dam do znanja Da ga vidim, ponekad Ponekad mu mahnem s prozora (Here's my half-arsed translation for you Serbian impared: I wave to him to let him know I can see him even now He's one floor below I wave to him to let him know I can see him even now I know he's watching me Well, let him watch me I never pull down the blinds I never turn out the lights He's the only one watching me He's the only one interested in me I don't know How To tell him I'm unhappy I have my own private voyeur He spies on me through his binoculars Just to let him know I can see him, sometimes Sometimes I wave to him from my window) This is probably one of my favorite songs, so sweet and juvenile and yet so sad. OPO are a wonderful, wonderful Serbian bend (well, they used to be, their newer stuff is pretty disappointing :-/ not that surprising considering they've kept only one original member). I've grown up listening to their music and, now that I think of it, I just might post some more tomorrow.

That was awesome, Cobra! Very compelling lyrics. I'm guessing the vocalist is female?

Yes Scott, it's a she. At first you confused me with that question, but then I realised you probably haven't listened to the mp3 I linked to.

Currently listening to Chosen Lords by AFX (Aphex Twin). The good: A new Aphex album after a five year wait The bad: Not as interesting as most of his other stuff, and five years of anticipation is a lot to stand up to. The in-between: Sounds sort of mid-1990s, but it's damn fine mid-1990s Last edited by simpson_yellow; 05-12-2006 at 07:56 AM. |

I would, but I'd have to buy a deck too. And as much as I love RDJ, I'm not convinced that'd be good value for money.

I'm afraid to say it but...
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" Cast - Drawn to the Fire And I have to say, it's a suprisingly good song. Ah, it just changed to: Chicago - It's hard to say I'm sorry -

Is that Buffy song from that really bad musical episode? The British public voted that episode as one of the 10 greatest musicals of all time, I think, destroying all faith that I have in their collective intelligence ...
I was listening to Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics, but now I'm listening to a podcast of The Now Show. |

I have no idea, I got that playlist second hand. So I have no idea where half the things come from. But chances are that it is. -

You have to admit, the Buffy musical episode was very well done. Anything that gets a musical, or something like opera - see Flashmob the Opera - into popular culture can't be a bad thing. Unless you're a snob. I'm suffering The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking by Roger Waters - popular in Germany apparently, but then so is David Hasselhof. |
