I'm an INTP as well. Hurrah, wormsie.

I find Butt's analysis rather fitting for me, and yet I am not sure... I've never been good at maths, for instance. I'm rather surprised that I got 1% for thinking, when I in fact consider myself thinking and pondering all day long about even the most trivial of things. Oh well.

Cool. I was feeling about another revived thread but when I actually read this I was psyched because I took this test years ago and my aunt is really into Myers-Briggs typology. I am an INFP (still am, though not as "I" as I was, I think) but my mother has wanted to know what she is and now I can send her this link. She will be 100% E, I am sure!

Well that was something to do for 4 min., thanks!

I'm INTP.

I believe that I am more thinking, though...

Then again, I am ADD, so it probably is completely different if I take the test later.

I feel like resurrecting an ancient thread. Might be fun to see what results some of us newer people get on this sort of thing.

My results as of this morning were as follows:

INTJ
Introverted: 89%
Intuitive: 88%
Thinking: 25%
Judging: 33%

This isn't really news, of course, seeing as I've always tested as INTJ, but what it does tell me is the following:
  • My score in thinking as opposed to feeling is a tad lower than it used to be. (If my memory serves me correctly, I used to get over 50% in that area.) Could this mean I'm learning how to feel? Well, actually, I've always been very emotional, though I suck at expressing such emotion properly and tend to keep it bottled up inside. I suppose the very high score on intuition helps with that. And to top it off, I've recently come to the realisation that the thinking/feeling dichotomy is one I have most trouble with. Thoughts and feelings go hand in hand.
  • The scores of many people who posted in this thread, despite being two years old, make perfect sense. No wonder Wormsie and I were so much alike...
  • When I take these tests, I always subconsciously pick the answers that I know will get me INTJ, because that seems to be the type I like best. Figures.

Sort of like Dr. Watson, they say.

Your Type is INFJ

Introverted 100
Intuitive 25
Feeling 12
Judging 89

No surprises there (though, dang, that's a high Introvert score) - I tend to flip-flop between INFJ and INTJ depending on the exact questions/scoring in a given test.

I took a paper version of this a few years ago and I was an ISFJ (with strong introversion). I'm now an INFJ. Interesting but the strong introversion hasn't changed. *sigh*

INFJ

Introverted: 67

Also, I'm the Idealistic Counselor:

I think it's pretty accurate. That's me in a nutshell and in written form.

Well, judging from my personal experience in dealing with INFPs, it's statistically likely that you're good at writing and have a crush on me. Infer from that whatever you wish.

Also, the high concentration of introverted intuitives on these forums makes me happy.

We INTJ types are destined to take over the world!

Meet me in the abandoned church at noon tomorrow, for plotting and pie!

Not too surprising... love of computers and/or computer games strikes me as being an introverted trait... and adventure gaming could be construed as intuitive in this sense, perhaps.

Qualitative analysis of your type formula

You are:

I can't believe I actually bothered doing that.

Protector Guardian. Pretty accurate, but I don't agree with the "all work & no play" part of Keirsey's description. Heiss is right on, though.
