Default help me choose

ok on friday the 21 of january at midday i will be back in my room having just finished my last exam of the term. i intend to play an adventure game as i dont know when i will have time to play during the term. i am torn between these and i cannot decide which one.

i have got until sunday probally around 11.30pm so which one

tales of monkey island
sam and max season 1
ceville
syberia
keepsake
el ammo

other suggestions welcome i have 2 weeks to buy the game and i have my student loan coming in monday so not too mad.

Syberia is best out of those if you want a classic adventure game, basically. Haven't tried Keepsake, though.

Keepsake will make you go absolutely insane. It's buggy, unpolished, cumbersome, indirect, confusing and annoyingly compelling. I would say get the better titles done first, i.e. the rest of them.

Oh, and Nolan North voices one of the characters. Yes, he's one of the best characters in the game. :p

I agree with Dwagginz..............as far as keepsake go for Syberia you will enjoy it

ive been meaning to play this for a while i bought it on xbox i believe so i will have to dig it out. thanks guys will let you know my thoughts

Noooooo! Tales of Monkey Island is a far better game than Syberia, I'm sorry to say, and I'm not an old school elitists about the Monkey Island games (heck, I only got around to playing them in the last couple of years).

Don't get me wrong: Syberia is good (you must play both parts back to back, though). I just don't think it's as rewarding as ToMI, and I'll bet you could find a lot of folks around here who would back that up.

pointandcliklover - lee has played more games then I have and is probably right about, ToMI........... I havent played it yet (really should) but Syberia was very good and you will enjoy both
