That's a great pic! Can I have it? Hubby dear wants me to change my desktop. He's sick of the hen.

But that's a reduced-size pic. It wouldn't work as a desktop too well, as it would either not cover the whole screen, be stretched way too much or be in duplicates

More pics of my hometown, London, Ontario.
The cenotaph in Victoria Park (the same downtown park featured in my previous batch of photos), decorated during Remembrance Day, November 11th: Some pics of the two most iconic buildings on UWO (University of Western Ontario) campus, taken in mid-November (yes, before all the snow hit the city). The first is of Middlesex College, from the front: University College tower (the building most people identity with Western), taken at dusk: The same building, one month later, surrounded by snow! And now back to Victoria Park, a true winter wonderland. Skating in front of the bandshell: Almost all of the park's trees are decorated for winter: Metal sculpture of a happy snow-family (that almost doesn't sound right! )

Yes, nice pics Trunk! To get the snow pictures less blue you have to change the white balance of your camere by hand. Try it, it's not hard and you get much better pictures then!

The photos are nothing special, but I'm proud of what I photographed.

Working as a freelance musican, you get to see a loads of weird and funny stuff. However, I like a photo I took with my band, when we we're waiting outside a studio to drop of our gear. This is a pic of the bass top and the bass player's indoor shoes:
This pic is actually not arranged! Josef, the bassplayer, just happened to put down his indoor shoes on the top like that! ---- I also like this one, which I passed by walking on a very cold and snowy winter day in my hometown, Stockholm, last year. Just had to take a pic! Poor bike! Last edited by Isak; 01-08-2011 at 04:26 PM. |
