I took some macros of some of my Apple stuff, because it was nearby and I had nothing to do. Close-up, everything looks cool:
The scratches are invisible to the naked eye but with the flash and the macro lens they stand out like a sore thumb. Man I had the thing for only a week and already there are scratches on it. I think I will buy a new iPhone this afternoon . |

I always thought that symbol was just printed on, but it seems to have been made there with laser or something.

Yes the sun shone on them just right. The only problem was that is was very very cold that day so after 5 minutes my father started complaining about frozen fingers. We wanted to stroll around a bit on the pier there but we ent home quickly instead. We were there for only 15 minutes or so .

Today we went to the birds' islands again to see the remaining ice. The islands are directly left of the leftmost pier on the map I linked to. They were made there to attract birds, and boy do they attract birds! We walked the length of the pier and back.
Ice creeping up the end of the pier. The air was very wet, which is why the pictures look so white. When we walked back from the end of the pier we had some sleet, which you hardly ever get in Holland. It was quite cold but beautiful. Last edited by tsa; 02-16-2012 at 10:43 AM. |

This is the pier from the other side:
You can just see the ice at the very tip of the pier to the left. |

Violin Fantasie.
And I must say that I meant this thread for pictures you made yourself... And I think the violin is photoshopped. |

Anyway, here's a few that I took a month ago (but were in the camera till now) And then these two that for some reason uploaded really tiny: (of course there were a bunch of others too, but that's just a random take of the slightly better ones - nothing too exciting of course) Last edited by UPtimist; 02-23-2012 at 01:17 AM. |
