Great pic, but that's not wintery at all!

It's like mid-autumn or something...

Do you have snow on the ground in mid-autumn? Those poor birds. Amazing that they still sing their pretty song then.

Snow? I didn't even see the snow in that pic...

Are we even talking about the same one?

Spoiler:
Of course mid-autumn is a relative term and I was exaggerating a bit, bu still... It's like that here at least in November. You southerners and your "winters"

You should hear my friend from Australia complain about the cold in his 'winters.' "Brrr, is 15 ºC!"

Yeah, I remember back when I was a kid and we were in Sicily, the kids there would have quilted jackets on to school and we were almost in t-shirts and shorts...

Here's 2 pics I took on my last trip to Arraial do Cabo, RJ, Brasil.

The view from the hotel room. What a privilege, eh?

By the beach

I love sunrise/set, they're so beautiful.

It's not winter outside it?

See, we haven't had the temperature rise above 0 Celsius since early december... And for example in Helsinki there's the most snow in about 30 years.

Also, Denaron, there's something exceptional about the first pic, a great composition and the waves are strange... something very painting-like about it

And we haven't had the temperature reduced beneath 33 Celcius since december (36º yesterday!). We could switch places for a while!

Hehehe, I'm glad you like it. It's funny you say that, because there was a painting very similar to that pic, in the room. Probably painted from the same place. That explains a bit why there's lots of painters (ok, not that many, but more than usual) around that town.

I'm pretending to visit Arraial again in a few weeks, I'll try to catch more painting-like landscapes!
