Holy s-... Jazhara7, thank you! I completely forgot about this series, even though I adored it as a child. Wow, nostalgia! Unfortunately, I won't be able to afford the DVDs any time soon. Urk.

Although I'm not sure I support the entire Watership Down being on Youtube (Really, just go buy the DVD for 5 bucks), it's my favorite animated movie. If you like that and don't mind even more disturbing and scary and depressing stuff see the director's other awesome movie "Plague Dogs," also based on a book by the Watership Down dude.

You're welcome!

I know, the DVDs cost quite a lot. One day I'll have to buy them too...one day.

What annoys me to no end is that they don't have all of the "Es war einmal..." series available on DVD. I really want to have "Es war einmal Amerika" on DVD, but there is no such thing.

Is that Udo Jürgens singing?! Today I realized that the Germon introduction of "Teenage Mutant Hero(!) Turtles" was sung by Frank Zander! Priceless.

Yes, it is indeed Udo Jürgens! I didn't know it back then either, and only just learnt it today, too. Apparently he composed the melody too, while the lyrics were written by Siegfried Rabe.

It's weird, same for me, too. Now who the f*ck is Siegfried Rabe?

No idea, there's no wikipedia article of him.

But pretty lyrics!
