Holy s-... Jazhara7, thank you! I completely forgot about this series, even though I adored it as a child. Wow, nostalgia! Unfortunately, I won't be able to afford the DVDs any time soon. Urk.

Although I'm not sure I support the entire Watership Down being on Youtube (Really, just go buy the DVD for 5 bucks), it's my favorite animated movie. If you like that and don't mind even more disturbing and scary and depressing stuff see the director's other awesome movie "Plague Dogs," also based on a book by the Watership Down dude.

You're welcome! I know, the DVDs cost quite a lot. One day I'll have to buy them too...one day. What annoys me to no end is that they don't have all of the "Es war einmal..." series available on DVD. I really want to have "Es war einmal Amerika" on DVD, but there is no such thing. -

Is that Udo Jürgens singing?! Today I realized that the Germon introduction of "Teenage Mutant Hero(!) Turtles" was sung by Frank Zander! Priceless.

Yes, it is indeed Udo Jürgens! I didn't know it back then either, and only just learnt it today, too. Apparently he composed the melody too, while the lyrics were written by Siegfried Rabe. -

It's weird, same for me, too. Now who the f*ck is Siegfried Rabe?
