I'm listening to music right now, so here goes a few of what I like:

Rammstein
System of a Down
The White Stripes
Leonard Cohen
Muse
Deep Purple
Fiona Apple
The Eagles
Johnny Cash
Simon and Garfunkel
The Cranberries
Noir Desir
Greenday
Cake
Theater of Tragedy
Blondie
Metallica
The Beatles
No Doubt
Danzig

etc...

And I'm more than open to musical suggestions.

Anyway, this is some of the music I love:

Dream Theater (excluding the newer stuff), Aerosmith (especially the 70's stuff), Jeff Buckley, Nine Inch Nails, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Extreme, Incubus (One of the VERY best bands of the moment), ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead (sick name, yes, but like Incubus, this is one of the best rock bands today. Also known simply as Trail Of Dead), Michael Jackson, Pearl Jam, Queen, Soundgarden, Spin Doctors (go ahead and laugh - I think they are/were fantastic), Megadeth, Spock's Beard, Neal Morse, Steve Vai, The Charlatans UK, Alice In Chains, Live, Nick Drake, Queensrÿche (well, Operation: Mindcrime mostly), The Who, Alanis Morissette (Jagged Little Pill is one of the best albums ever), The Beatles, 311, The Black Crowes, Jason Becker, Damien Rice, Genesis, Yes, Opeth, Seal, Machine Head, Peter Gabriel, Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica etc.

Pretty eclectic, but mostly just pure f'n rock.

Edit: typos
Hey You've got a pretty impressive selection there!
Especially FNM and Incubus.
Incubus are amazing live - I saw them a good few years back when they were suppporting Korn (i think)

Hmmm....well I used to listen to real heavy death/thrash metal but I have chilled out a bit.

Mainly:

Green Day, Led Zeppelin, Iced Earth, Creed, Nickelback, Megadeth, Paradise Lost, Metallica (but IMO they have gone way downhill), Skyclad (folk metal), System of a Down, Type O Negative, Queensryche:Operation Mindcrime

Have much more but this is all I have been listening to for ages.

Thats about it really at the moment, but I will listen to anything providing its not: Rave/Dance/Hardcore cos its shite (IMO) Country+Western, R+B.

Like the Chillout albums

Have to agree with you about Metallica mate, their early stuff was much better - now and again we get the DJ at our local rock club to play Enter Sandman! It's always a major trip down memory lane

It's just their latest album to me just sounds crap - more like a demo/garage sound. I think I played it twice; the second time was to see if it would grow on me, but no, it didnt

Bring back Master of Puppets anyday!!!

Peer Günt - No Piercing, No Tattoo

The best rock album of 2005.

Wow, I am suprised to find a fellow Skyclad-fan here. 8-) Many good bands on your list there. I agree with you on Metallica. I like all their albums except St Anger which is pure crap (played by a completely different band by the sound of it).
