Anyone else want to place bets on the outcome? I've got $50 riding on Jaz.

A) [Mory, Surveyor of the Realms] Ha ha ha!

B) Jaz is called loony precisely because no one understands what the hell she's talking about most of the time! Whenever I read one of Jaz's posts I can't help but get this bemused and confused half smile on my face. It's like what my momma told me, "all you can do is nod and smile when confronted with pure crazy."

That... is so very true. This is why I stopped while I was ahead. I can't see that kind of craziness in myself.

Ah, but what is needed here is not purity of looniness, but strength of looniness! I could, for instance, say:

Half gold meets bad frogs when the rain goes south.

But that has no bite to it! Hardly worthy of an empire...

Would you be loony if you said something like this:

Oh ****, the pain in my head makes me want to vomit. Make it stop, make it stop before I hurt someone, need to cut, cut so bad, so bad, die! DIE!

Or is loony more of a cute version of mad?

Sorry Mori. Jaz has been proving her lack of grip on reality for 1,200 posts now. You still have some catching up to do.

Though, this could be interesting...
"Hey Mori, I heard Jaz say that she talked Nintendo into turning the new Metroid game into a pure FPS and doing away with all exploration."

I am ready now.

How loony can looniness go?
It isn't quite endless, you know.
With a sword in my fist
I see that I missed
The aim of my very first blow.

Never mind, I will get it right now!
It will make a very nice "POW"!
How about I just stick
This inane limerick
Into the battle at thou?

The ghosts of the monsters I slew
Say that I will easily best you.
It won't be so nice!
I tell you this thrice-
What I tell you three times is true.

I see your position's not hot:
The weapon you need you've not got!
Moreover, this rhyme
Will annoy in quick time
And the battle will be like with a tot!

You would hear me as I expressed
A rhyme sillier than a jest:
The market is pink,
But the kitchen must sink!
And that surely, you cannot best!

How appropriate, *YOU* fight like a cow.

*whacks MoriartyL over the head with a frozen trout, and prepares to dissolve his body in Mustard Custard Acid*

"Um, Mommy? That's something Jazhara666 would do, not you."

Awww, please! Can't I just dissolve him a teensy bit?

"No."

Awww, man...

"There's a good Loony Mommy. Now, as a reward I think I'll look away when you lock him in the room with the Grey Squirrel prisoners. By the way, when was the last time they got food - Monday?"

Ummm...more like the 17th. Of April.

"Ooh...I see. Well, go ahead then."

Yay! *drags MoriartyL's body to a barred cell with signs bearing texts like "Beware, ravenous Squirrels." and "Thou shall shun the walktrough. Seriously, I ain't kidding.", and throws him in*

*throws the door into the lock*

*listens at the door to evil squeaks and terrified scratching noises coming from inside the cell*

Oooh, goody!

This... was extreme.

Extremely insane.

How can you beat rabid grey squirrels?

See what you started ambine. Now Jaz and Mori are going to kill each other an it's all your fault. *starts to cry*

I concur!

And since I'm the starter of the thread, I should be the sayer of who wins!

Unless of course Mori can come up with a hefty bribery fee....

Tis unfair that this forum does not count towards your posts. I'd have like 10 by now and that, my friend, says I am MORE than capable of making such a decision!

Meh, don't worry about him, ambine. It's called a reality check, he'll thank you later.

The rain now comes: "What is loony?" "What is crazy?"
The rain comes, and still I wait... with nearly endless patience.
The rain pours down- is Jazhara merely lazy?
The thunder sounds- does she not like confrontations?

..and then she strikes, with the bluntness of a trout.
...and then she strikes, tries to hit with a cliche.
But does she not know... that a champion is about?
And does she not know that there is another way?

I gave her a fair chance; I told her 'bout my heel;
But she decides to dance in the likeness of an eel:
Squirming back and forth looking for anything strange;
Could it be, perhaps, that this is out of her range?
This is not just a battle, but an epic of such size
That the shaking of a rattle is like what Miss Loony tries.

I will strike with the fury of a hurricane!
I will strike 'til she has to find another name!
And if you think I'm being just a little too dramatic
You will find me agreeing with your statement most emphatic.

For perhaps I am too harsh.
For I have not told
That inside the malted marsh
You may find the tool of old.

It can best the sword,
It can best my rants.
And now you may afford
To take another chance.
