The rain grows heavy, for thrice I told you so.
The rain grows heavy, as Jazhara took a blow.
The rain grows heavy, and it seems will only grow.
The looney one's strength fails, and her next response is slow.
The rain turns to hail-
But the secret she does know.

Thunderball was the theme song of the James Bond movie with the same title. It was sung my Tom Jones. Naturally you're far too young to remember.

I've seen one or two old Bond movies, but never that one.

Heh, Moriarty. I think I should tell you know that you will never be able to take my title. The penguins will not allow a male to rule this planet. Girls are the rulers of this planet, even though we pretend otherwise to protect the men's vulnerable egos.

But why should I not play along?

A flying sky, that's what you'll see
A flying sky, and then I'll be
The arreptitious Empress keen as steel,
And so before me, you will kneel!

Is this the best you have to offer?
Where is the rest, I ask?
You have the tools, you have the tips
To help you on this task.

Instead, you stand your ground
With a tiny little sound.
[You know what sound you get when an ant tries to hit a mighty elephant?]
Flying Sky, indeed, from the perspective of a fish.

Which just so happens to have been caught
By a most peculiar bird.
Without another word,
It could eat up its meal, then and there.
It wouldn't then feel overwrought,
It wouldn't have a care.
But this peculiar thing though much has fought,
Does something quite absurd.

It helps the fish!

..And the fish still squirms.

The two sides call a truce- for now.
But know it will continue.
I do not know just when or how-
Perhaps another venue.

But let it be known throughout the land
That even the very best
(Such as myself) all understand
That they must get some rest.

And so the rain has passed,
As all such things must do.
It's really been a blast,
But -for now- Adieu.

What's going on here? I step away from my computer for a few hours and come back to a three-page (with my ultra-large posts-per-page setting) epic in which Jaz and Mory have a loony-fight and then we start talking about Thunderball (you haven't missed much, Mory; it's one of Connery's worst)...

Sheesh.

Anyway, welcome ambine. Don't feed the loonies.

Why would that be? It's not like I rely on loonies to cook for me...
