So, here's my next animal for you to guess. In the case of this one I guess either many people will know it immediately, or nobody will know it at all.

Who's a pretty boy? You are!

Looks like a Tasmanian Tiger to me - very cool! Are they actually extinct or not? I seem to remember seeing a movie of one running around, supposedly filmed more recently than the "last" one is supposed to have died. It was very shaky though, as all of these things are, so in no way could you consider it conclusive evidence...

My knowledge of the animal kingdom is very limited, so I'll nominate Jaz do to another one if I'm correct!

Sorry to barge in the middle of this, but as a bonus question (as I'll never guess the animals) I'll have to post my possibly favorite animal.

(Edit): And to get a full view, another image, though smaller.

Yes, it is indeed a Tasmanian Tiger. They are supposed to be extinct, though there's sightings of them from time to time. I personally hope that they are not extinct. Also, they have re-started the project to clone Tasmanian Tigers.

These little guys were always some of my favourites in the Zoo. They're terribly cute.

Yep, those are Kirk's Dik-diks (no relation to a certain Star Trek character, I believe. ). They are the smallest Antelope species of Africa.

They are so cute!

Your turn.

OK, here´s one, perhaps too easy, but very interesting animal. My present mood (that you may have read about in other threads - I know I keep repeating myself-) is very much the same as this fellow for the moment.

I will NOT let this thread die! Since no one is posting a new animal, I'll post a semi-easy one..

After some searching on the internet I found it: Okapi.
It´s from the Giraff family. The last large mammal to be discovered. Also the only mammal that can clean its ears with its toungue.
