It's American McGee's Alice, isn't it? It's not like the lead role requires an Academy Award-winning actress.
Don't care much for SMG myself, but she'll do. Last edited by nikoniko; 02-08-2006 at 05:30 PM. |

Actually, Stoofa, the Alice in the game had always been 'poker faced' and never truly made any kind of attempt to be funny. She was made to be a very macabre, gothic girl and what humour there was from was more from a her sense of ironic, dark wit. So much of it really depends on the director and the screewriter.
BTW, I don't understand people's criticisms of Sarah Michele Gellar. She has won numerous awards for her TV acting. I have a good feeling she'll bring a particular dimension and depth to the big screen version of Alice. As well she also possesses excellent athleticism based on her Buffy role.

Well, just in case the SMG haters out there
get their wish and she quits or gets fired or something, here's my vote for Alice. Since directors don't care whether the ethnicity of the actress matches that of the character anyway, why not? |

That's the creepy girl from Ju-On right? Didn't she also star in Kill Bill?

Heck, at least I was honest about not liking SMG
If the movie's good then I'll shut up.
