I gots no beef with JA+ whatsoever, and a lot of the peeps on there I get on with... and Randy is a top fella, no doubt about it, to my mind, and Val is a lovely lady and a great mod. Let me make that clear. But DAAAYAMN that P+R forum has taken the cake on this one, and no doubt Val has washed her hands of it (good thing too, it drove me nuts). Randy should scrap all P+R posts imho cos quite clearly peeps can't help themselves.

Honestly, I also have no idea why SJH felt it was necessary to start this thread? Like many others, I enjoy his presence here greatly. Just about the only thing that SJH did that I didn't like was when he posted that pic of huge tanuki balls.

Bura bura bura

Kind of makes a man feel a bit inadequate you know.

I can only talk about the Politics and Religion forum, which is the one I go and read quite frequently (mostly because I enjoy discussions about politics, and we don't have such a forum here), and yeah, the people in this forum are mostly right winged and conservative. Which in turn make them bad

Moreover, the posts I agree with the most, with are MichalN's, or Aj_'s, or yours, are often at best deconstructed and over-analysed, and at worst bashed purely and simply.

That is just my opinion, it applies only to JA's P+R forum, and then only to the most vocal posters there. I would have posted a long time ago, because, as I said, these subjects interest me, but refrained precisely because I knew it would eventually get down to "me versus them".

To be fair, I enjoy it, although it manages to piss me off to some impressive extent (when I'm not even posting), if anything because it's really satisfying to read a post you agree with strongly in the middle of posts that you disagree with even more strongly.
