No, seriously, I long for the days when I could glance at your post for hours on end and wonder about what the mysterious shape that was gracing us with its presence for such fleeting moments really was. Alas, those days are gone now, forever I'm afraid.

but...a Banjo, Accordian, flute, and a bottle? they dont sound like jazz to me...

That's what the Clarinet, Slide-Trombone, and Trumpet are for. The bottle(s) are there because this is a Students Jazzband. Actually, the Banjo is pretty much a typical Jazz-instrument as well, wouldn't know any other music styles it could be used for. (Country & Western perhaps?)
It's not that hard to learn play the banjo if you can play guitar.

You can't see it very well in this picture, but the reason there's an accordeon there is because were playing on a raft, on which the piano didn't fit.

Banjos are also use by pirates for shantys

i dont know how to play a guitar...how hard would it be learning to play a banjo from scratch?
