Default Highly suspect student film

Hmm... for the curious, here's a film I made last quarter. Note: It's actually pretty awful. It's the result of not enough time plus the fact that I'm not a writer and I don't like camerawork. Unfortunately, I was stuck doing both even though I really only like editing, so yeah. Blame the instructor for not letting us work in groups. Also we weren't allowed sync sound. Argh.

(I am not the actor, he's a friend of mine, probably familiar to anyone who's gone to E3 with AG )

Also, if anyone knows a simple way to do a countdown title in FCP or LiveType, let me know

I enjoyed it. I've been in that guy's shoes (er, socks) before. Writer's block is a bitch.

Heh... it's a true story. I went through 4 treatments before I gave up and made a film about a guy not being able to come up with anything to make a film about and eventually making a film about a guy not being able to think of ideas for a film

(By the way, you may or may not recognize Mike from This E3 photo alongside Laura, Christina, and Berian

Hey! I once wrote a play about a girl who couldn't come up with any ideas for writing a play.

Probably the best of the stereotype I've ever seen is Barton Fink (1991).
Sort of nightmarish. emm. Typically Coen, you might say. I luv it anyway.

That was great. You have a dashing voice, and good looks too.

I'm sure I've heard that music in a porno flick.

Well, Lemon Jelly's "The Staunton Lick" was used in the series finale of Spaced. And the first song is from BG&E.

HeheH! Oh, that reminds me of my second semester.... Dunno if it's still up there somewhere, though. Ah, it was far too artsy (and I was only busy writing cryptic booklet texts) anyway.

Funny, that song was just stuck in my head...

Heh, great video. Just like me usually. Though at the point I get the idea, I probably screw it somehow, and might end up doing something else from that too
