Why this segregation of cat and dog? Can't we all just get along?

Nah, my dogs' names are Cora and Cuno. Keep guessing. Also, she's not strictly a dog in the traditional sense... -

OK, I'm guessing this is a reference to a Discworld werewolf.

Back on the subject, I like cats (especially baby ones). I love their independence, and the fact that you can still have a life and go out freely, without having to worry about them being depressed and pooing all over the house.

Because little kids look at a dog and say "Cor, a dog!"?

I have no idea. It's just a very nice name, I guess. I also met a person called Cora. And there's also some celebrity called Cora, I think. -

That's how I came up with the answer myself, Mel (I haven't read enough Discworld novels to know that). What I was after, rather, was a clarification that that was indeed what Jaz was thinking of, given that, for all I know, she could have a neighbour with a savage dog called "Angua" .

Angua You can just see it if you look really close, but her eyes have the same look in both portraits. Paul Kidby did a great job on that. It's eerie! (Also, note that she wears her badge on a collar). Oh, and my point was that she hunts chickens during the full moon. She pays for them too. -
