Yeah, and a while back there was thread about what kind of job you'd like to have.

Filmman, I'll answer you.

I work for a temp agency as a nurse. I work at local hospitals and nursing homes on the night shift - 11pm to 7:30 am.

That's the restaurant chain, isn't it? I loved Bob Evans breakfast sausages when I was growing up! I'd always get excited whenever Nanay (my mom) brought some home from grocery shopping. I always had it with rice (being Asian).

To answer your question, I currently work doing inventory processing and data entry for an online clothing reseller. It's not necessarily my career choice but it makes money. When I move to California I should be in a far better position to land in my professional niche, which is to work in a cultural institution.

I'm self employed, too.
Lucien21, I always think you have such an interesting job. How marvelous to be that ensconced in local history. I'm not much of a traveller, but I've asked for a trip to Scotland for my 50th birthday. I love single malt whisky (Lagavulin's my fave), and I can't get enough of listening to the Scottish burr. I'd go just to hear everyone speak .

I'm a "full-time student", which I find particularly amusing given that I'm only at university for just over half the year.

Historic Scotland, Lucien? Sounds fun .

I work for a company that sells computer hardware. We specialize in the OEM network appliance market, but also delve into the standard server market as well as small clusters, render farms and multimedia servers for companies such as Avid. As an example, we make the HDTV encoding stations for ESPN's mobile broadcast units.

For those of you who are curious, the overwhelming majority of our customers use some variety of Linux or BSD. Windows is pretty much dead in my area.

This job is only temporary though, as I am going to win the lottery soon and retire.
