You may think so.

However, while it is true that most American Opinion Polls show that Americans don't want anything from Canada (except perhaps trees, wheat, manufactured goods, trained medical staff, singer/songwriters, Oscar-winning actors, comedians, good domestic beer and the chocolate bars, to name a few), nevertheless, there is an entire segment of tax-paying Americans that happen to love many things about Canada not discussed in most of your opinion polls.

They are known locally as Visitors seeking Canadian Citizenship (otherwise known as liberal democrats seeking political asylum).

Funny thing is all those trained medical staff, singer/songwriters, Oscar-winning actors, comedians keep moving here to avoid paying the higher tax rates and being forced to perform for 'Queen and Country' Pro Bono

We don't make them perform Queen and Country.

We do, sadly, tax them to high heaven, however.

That and sing O Canada, which is only marginally easier to sing than The Star Spangled Banner.

I seem to remember that Bryan Adams was once branded as Un Canadian for not doing some kind of free concert or something about a decade ago. That's prob where I got the 'Queen and Country' thing.
We just say the Pledge of Aliegance. Which is fun when the athiest protest the 'Under God' part.

The Canadians produce world-class mariners. I'll give them that. And they are our neighbors, so that leads me to conclude that there is no differance between them and us.

Come now Stepurhan. You're the one who gives the lectures about body acceptance. And you know that Bulldog and I adore you!

I was just kidding. I'm fine with the body I've got as everyone should be (happy with their own bodies that is, you can't have mine )

Popular opinion (and I don't mean just here) is that I should download some better clothes though.

Obviously I need a new user title writing guru.

Do you know anyone?

(my current user title is factually accurate. I'd need to change the avatar as well)

Haha, the funniest thing I read today: "Pregnant teenagers are deliberately smoking, in the hope of having smaller babies, so giving birth is easier"

Well, as you can see, I've produced yet another witty and cool user title for myself, so I would help you if I could. However, I'm currently out of ideas. If I think of something, though, I'll let you know.

Wai-wai, wait a minute! Have you been panned? I kind of doubt it!

Panning yourself does not count! You have to be panned by a member that has already been panned. Officially you are not even allowed to use the pan before you have yourself been panned by an established panned member!

So I ask you to remove that title until you have actually been panned.

I was this close to panning you myself now, but I think that would be playing into your hands too much. No panning for you, sir!
