Yes, it does. If it was only from within video games, I wouldn't dare call it "knowledge", because rarely is that in video games based too much upon real life facts. Also, I've never seen a glaive in any video game. A Naginata, yes. But only in a fan made module for NWN. -

Arena was a pretty long, and the fact that nothing new seemed to happen, and that it were no exciting plot or any twists just made me quit.

Apart from the fact that it was very clichéd, what with the Germans being the villains *again*? No, not very much. I know that there was a thingy being developed by the Germans which was called "Wotan", because it only used one beam, thus giving away to their enemies too much through the name, and that after that the English and Americans made a policy of assigning random code names to their secret projects. Also, I want an ENIGMA. Oh, and I know we Germans are born villains and evil guys. Did you know that the Illuminati originated in Germany too? -

Nah, I'm probably getting one of these already, as my sister agreed that 199,99 British pounds are cheaper than 20,000 $. -

Ahh... I went looking for that model, but couldn't find it. That and I'm not nice enough to spend £200 on anybody for Christmas .

Too many FilePlanet links. I don't deal with that site. But thank you very much. Some of those mods look much better than the original skins and textures, indeed.

Don't worry, I can understand that. And I'm still wondering if I shouldn't rather get a Swiss memory USB. There's so much from ThinkGeek I want to get. Look at the Ulti-Key! -

That does look kind of cool. The ballpoint pen thing seems a bit random, though, since all the ink would be used up pretty quickly.

Or maybe you were saying it is a touchy subject for you. You are talking to someone who went to the London Dungeon (you know, a Horror Cabinet thingy, based on the darker aspect of the city's history. There's also the York Dungeon, which I haven't visited, and the Hamburg Dungeon, which I did visit.) and who in the trial was proclaimed guilty after she said she was German. The conversation went something like this: Judge: Name? Me: Jessica. J: From? Me: *accidentally mumbling* Germany. J: What was that? Me: Germany. Judge: *eyes wide in shock* GUILTY! I still giggle at that. Oh, and look! It's Chuck Junior! I want one! -

Canada's full of born villains and evil guys too. They just pretend to be all accepting and non-threatening to throw everyone off.

I've heard that the stereotype Canuck just sits on his couch and drinks beer.
They also buy their war machines from us.

I understand. I'm a pretty old fashioned guy myself, underneath it all. But Tomorrow is coming, and people need to be fed and clothed and housed, and when you can't afford enough responsible corporate types to carry the load, you have to ask more of your government. Sadly, most folks up here these days don't understand what they're paying government to do, so we wind up with policies being adopted that don't work south of the border (so why in the world would they work better here?), because they don't want to pay for anything that doesn't go directly back into their own pockets. Culture and social evolution are built from better things than this. But yeah, Canada has plenty of villains. We just give them too much paperwork to do, so they generally can't get into too much trouble. |
