Hey, what's this? There'll be no nudity in this thread. Unless Selma Hayak is here, in which case it's cool.

No need to go to Germany. Hippy Hollow is a state nudist beach here in Texas.(I would post the actual site page but modesty prevents.)
A few years back a large tour boat sank from people running to one side to see the people 'relaxing as nature intended'. |

Well, I guess it's like going whale watching...except it's big, ugly, pink whales that are stranded in this case. -

I'm sorry Giligan. You don't think I'm pretty enough...*goes to cry in a corner*

If you're not pretty enough, then I break mirrors when I look into them.

Why would you go do that?
I mean, let's look at what you said. A bit of applied dépeçage, if you will. If said person A is not pretty enough (as defined by C ("Giligan")), then B will decide that when she looks into mirrors, she will break them. What is your (B's) motive? That if the world we live in doesn't qualify A as pretty enough, then the mirrors that depict and reflect such a world should not be allowed to be? That it is de facto the mirrors that create the illusion of sort that A is not pretty enough (but then, isn't it only when defined by C?)? That you (B) are too disappointed and cannot bear the truth that A just is not pretty enough (again, in C's point of view)? Or that if A is not pretty enough, then you are so much lower, that you cannot bear to even look at yourself and hence all mirrors should be broken to keep you living in the illusion that you are in fact pretty enough? Then again, why care about just C's opinion? Or do you believe that what C believes in is actually in a way the manifestation of the general will (volonté générale), as enunciated by Jean-Jacques Rousseau? What all actually believe and want? Also, I hope that if you actually go breaking mirrors, you make sure that you use proper protection, as you might indeed get even badly injured. You should especially not got and break said mirrors with just your bare hand, as it is certain to leave your hand wounded. |

Who needs pretty? Mrs. R says when the lights go out I turn into Matthew McConoughey. I tell her 'Shut up and kiss me Camilla'.

Pretty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I can't stand all this stick thin nonsense that seems so popular. Give me a woman with a decent amount to hug any day.

I totally agree, but there's also an upper limit when it comes to how much amount one should carry, out of health reasons. I try to take care of myself the best I can, since I was born with this one body and I won't be able to buy another one if it breaks.

I'm not thin or fat, but my chin is offset by about one centimeter. It's been a source of perturbation.

I think you look great Gil!
I don't think anyone is perfectly symmetrical. I know my left jaw bone is slightly different compared to my right jaw bone.

I've got three scars in my face, two of them visible (one on my forehead, one on my chin). I feel they make me look...rugged. Wroar!
And that's not counting the chicken pox scar. -

I was just teasing. I enjoy being somewhat portly. For one thing, the extra weight makes me stronger and facilitates such activities as playing the tuba and defending myself against creeps. Also, I like to, you know, eat and stuff. I can't for the life of me understand how some people can only have a green salad for dinner.

Then eat more. Either you won't be stick thin anymore, or you'll wind up being one of those people everyone envies who eat so much but never gain weight.

haha That would be cool, but I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to food, etc.
