A bit like Klaus Störtebecker, when adding a Londoner accent and making him speak English?

So, a bit like you, I guess.

I have spoken to none, but I am sure I've heard quite a lot of them talking while being in Hamburg. Now make them speak English, and change the accent.

No, I can't imagine a longshoreman speaking with such a refined British accent. And I mean *very* British.

Well, you may have rough-speaking longshoremen over in Hamburg but ours all have impeccable British accents (and really good table manners)

See? I am apparently a longshoreman...

Alternatively, I might not be. Take your pick.

The ones in Hamburg are not rough-speaking (well, maybe some are. But not every person's the same, after all) either, but they most likely will speak Plattdeutsch. Not all of them, but some. Here is a video of a joke in Plattdeutsch, with the translation into High German. Then there's this beautiful song sung in the dialect, and this site which is in Plattdeutsch, so you can see it written down. It also allows you to switch to High German (so you can see the difference), and to English (so you actually understand what is written there).

And yes, it is quite hard to understand.

Or maybe you're stalking me!

Which would pretty much be the same as bugging my house, yeah.

Oh, not stalking you. Just spying on you to see if you are any danger to me.

Oh, and Tibsie? Check your PM.

Yeah, sorry. I was wondering if the MSN alternative was going to materialise, but since I haven't seen you online I'll work out the file thing.

In other news, I'm off to bed.

Giligan, you keep telling yourself that. I've found you're even less dangerous than a piece of wool.

I just keep supervising you because it's so entertainingly boring.

Oh, if it's just that? I was waiting for a reply. I'll try to be online tomorrow, okay?

Dangerous things pieces of wool.

You can trip up on them, choke on them, be horribly allergic to them and that's even before we get on to their static creation properties.

Yeah, but I have been trained in the arts of Wool-jutsu. I know how to wield the mighty weapon that is the fluffy piece of wool.

But Giligan is much less dangerous than a piece of wool, like I said. So I do not fear him.

Especially when it's got some wonderful concoction on it to make it more lethal.

And if you haven't figured it out yet. My lil girl Jazz connects with spy satellites with her Ipod.
