A sign for modern day Agatha Christie characters there. (Who all seem to have "tea" these days, even if they didn't in the original books.)

How gulible is the statue operator? There's real potential for mischief there. (Sailor and Dolly are two names that immediately spring to mind but I'm sure there are more creative choices)

A large percentage of people around the world are having a better time today than I am. It's not fair. I hate them all.

I myself am having a wonderful Memorial day with a head cold. I just talked to Mrs.R and her, all my daughters, my grandkids, and my ex wife are stuck under a pavilion in Houston's zoo while it is pouring down rain.

It's raining over at your place too? It's been raining here all day. And despite that, there still were some starlings raiding our cherry tree.

We really should try and get one couple of starlings to nest in that tree. If they nest there, that couple will defend the tree from any other starlings and other birds. One small family of starlings is easier to deal with than a whole swarm of them. And there's be some cherries left over for us.

Oh, and Tibsie? I hope you haven't forgotten about sending me those files, have you?

Now that's an odd combination.

And would you stop whining, Jaz?

It's not raining in Vancouver today, which is somewhat odd for a place that rains for most of the year.
