Underground Scenes of the Week - 11 June 2007
Wow, I've just come across this amazing game! Have you ever heard of it!? Can you tell me what it is? Why isn't there any discussion about it?

Though not averse to geekery in general, I draw the line at keeping track of when Samorost day (week?) is held. In fact, merely being aware of the existence of such a thing forces me to ask hard questions about how I spend my spare time.
On a separate note, I guess I had never finished the game before, and I only did so by accident while grabbing today's screenshot. I didn't realize it was so short.

Wow. Exactly one week early. Well, that's a shame. And it will be hard to come up with something appropriate for next Monday, too.

Sorry, I had an essay due on Wednesday, and this thread completely slipped my mind. Plus, I'm running out of games to post that I've played...

How about this one
Satan Quest Admittedly the subject is going to put some people off right away but it had good sound, was nicely drawn and had a wicked (if you'll pardon the pun) sense of humour. Bit on the short side though.

I'm pretty sure we (Squinky, rather) already did that one. Disallowed!
And no, no scene from me today (or yesterday, even). I'm posting from a moving train in Sweden, and my bag-o'-screenshots is not handy. How about we make next week Underground Week of Madness, with a new screenshot every, yes every single day?!

Just a thought but how about a themed week? Has the Reality on the Norm series got much coverage in these threads? A selection of screenshots should be fairly easily obtainable for a few of these games and we could discuss how different game writers have approached the same locale and characters.

How about a "Princess Marian" week... choose the best 7 games from the series and post one each day?
