Underground Scene of the Day - Wednesday 18 April 2007
Now this was a great game. I remember being given a finished copy to beta-test, as the author was wavering over whether he should sell it as shareware, as originally planned, or distribute it as freeware. After I played the game and was about to send an e-mail to the tone of "oh, you should definitely make it shareware, it's great", I discovered that he had, indeed, already decided to release it as freeware. I suppose it was all for the best, though, particularly considering that it ended up winning Best Game in the 2003 AG Underground Awards.

Ah, Out of Order was a great game. Downright weird but absolutely fantastic to play. Loved the ending as well. An inspired piece of work that would definitely have mertied a commercial release with a bit of voice acting.

Yeah. Great stuff. Plenty of originality and a reasonably high level of polish.
